Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Install doors, frames, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Perform repair, maintenance, and finishing work as required.
• Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read measurements and technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Relevant technical qualifications or vocational training are an advantage.
