Livestock Helpers

Key Responsibilities

• Feed and provide clean drinking water to livestock as per the assigned schedule.
• Clean and maintain animal shelters, pens, feeding areas, and surrounding facilities.
• Assist in handling, moving, and restraining animals safely when required.
• Observe animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behaviour and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with basic animal care and follow veterinary instructions.
• Support the loading, unloading, and transportation of livestock when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of feeding equipment, water containers, and animal care tools.
• Assist with routine farm activities and ensure proper handling of feed and supplies.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and animal welfare procedures.
• Report any animal escapes, injuries, or emergencies immediately to the supervisor.
• Perform other livestock-related duties as assigned by management.
